Sebastian Gurgles When You Talk to Him

Sebastian has been smiling more in the past couple of weeks.





















He gurgles from time to time during his up time, too.




When you talk to him, he gurgles more!




Of course, he cries when he needs his milk




And he's knocked out when he's full.

Ladies man?

Just noticed a few days ago, he's got LONG eyelashes!!!

Could he be a ladies man? Am I gonna be having a daddy-son talk frequently? Haha.. Thinking WAY too much. Only if he can scream a little less, I'll be just happy right now.

Sharp Fingernails

He's got VERY sharp fingernails, and he's scratch his face and nose at least twice already.

Finally had sometime to file his fingernails, but I only had one hand done. He woke up too soon!

Craddle Crap

After weeks, baby acne is all gone from his face. Yeah! But the cradle cap is still there. The causes for cradle cap is unknown, but it's not uncommon among infants.

Growth Spurt?

Sebastian just never slept last night! The follow pix sum it up:

"It's my up time, and I'll go back to crying when I am hungry in the next 60 minutes or so!"

Q: Is there a way to get Sebby to smile?
A: Neh, not at this age! He smiles whenever he wants! But once in a while with the right timing and stimulation, he might just do that in his deep sleep.

41 hours without pooping...

Sebastian went without pooping was from 11/10 6pm to 11/12 11am for a whopping of 41 hours! Now that he just had one, what a big pile of shit! He pooped so much that the diaper couldn't hold everything! It leaked through the diaper to his back. It's all over his back and shoulders!

Babies that don’t poop for several days

Once your baby is about one month old, he may start having fewer bowel movements. If your baby is breastfed, he may go several days to a week without having a bowel movement. This is nothing to worry about. Exclusively breastfed babies rarely have problems with constipation. If he goes longer than a week, he seems to be in pain, or if you are concerned, call your pediatrician.

Formula-fed babies poops slow down at about a month as well. However, formula is more likely to cause constipation than breast milk. Most formula fed babies will have about one bowel movement a day. Stools should be soft. If you notice your baby’s stools are firm or hard and pellet-like, he may be constipated. If your baby goes longer than two or three days without a bowel movement and he is formula fed, you should give your pediatrician a call.

New Sleeping Habit?

This little guy can roll during his sleep now, and he likes to roll to his right. It doesn't happen often, but it's still fascinating to see his development.

Just noticed right now, he just smiled in his sleep with the "hee-hee" sound. I picked up the camera to try to capture that. I waited for 10 min, he never did it again. But of course, as soon as I put the camera down, he did it again!

King Tut?

Doesn't he look like a mummy? This picture of him reminds me of King Tut.

If you don't wrap him tight, he will kick everything out of his way when he wakes up. Not to mention crying and screaming follow.
