Where to Feed -- Car Seat Works Best
We have tried different ways to feed Sebastian. The boppi has been very useful until recently. After a couple of oz, he would barf with or without burping.
We then tried sitting up him up at the corner of the sofa. It worked for a while until he decided he wanted to flex his hip muscle, and he would slide down.
We then tried using the high chair. It rarely worked as he's not big enough yet.
Now, we put him in a car seat. No more barfing (knock on wood)! Sometimes he would take 6 oz straight without burping. Maybe there's certain elevation that works best. Too little using the boppi or too much having him sitting doesn't work.

Lost on the stare down.
So we went out for dinner on Saturday night (2/2), and he was doing fine in the stroller. While I was feeding him, a boy from the table next to us who was probably around 6 years old walked to the stroller and looked at Sebastian. After a few seconds of stare down, Sebastian declared a defeat. He started crying hysterically! At the moment, he became the center of the attention of the whole restaurant.
Distracting him with a toy didn't work.
Rocking didn't work.
Holding in my arms didn't work.
Putting him on my shoulder didn't work.
We eventually had to take him out of the restaurant. It took him a while to calm down. Not long after, he fell in sleep.
Was he tired and wanted to sleep? Or did he not like that little stranger staring at him? Was he just the shy? It's been interesting to see his personality traits unfold.

Whopping 13 lbs and 5 oz
So Sebastian had his shots yesterday; 2 on each thighs! Even before he got his first shot, he started crying as soon as he saw the doc. It was as if he knew what was coming!
This time, we gave him the infant Tylenol 30 min after he had his shots. It worked. He didn't have any fever last night, and he seemed to take his milk fine.
So, for his itchy skin, the doc said to put more moisturizing lotion (or olive oil, the cheaper kind of moisturizer). We'll pay more attention in the next few days to see if more lotion would work.
Now he weighs 13 lbs and 5 oz, and is 25" tall.
He's on the 50th percentile on the height, but is between 10th to 25th percentile on the weight. This guy will be one skinny dude.
